Had a bad day today. Felt really tiered all day and had a dull headache, which wasn't helped by being at work and staring at a computer screen all day. Today was the first day i really felt like eating something, I helped my boyfriend make some tuna and onion pittas, i was OK when i was making them but the smell of them after was so lovely i just wanted to take a bite.. but I didn't and as I felt so low today I'm quite proud of myself. I think because I had lost 8lb already at my pop in that that had kept me at it. That's the great thing with LL the fast weight loss is such a great incentive to keep at it. Ive got my meeting and the weigh in tonight which I'm really looking forward to.. I hope the scales are kind to me. tried the caramel shake tonight and didn't like it at all, I'm not really a fan of caramel any way and it really is very strong and sweet. I think one of things i'm finding really hard is not chewing anything, can't wait to get the bars this week.. hope i like them.x

Hi Katie - it's always nice to hear that my blog has helped and been a bit inspiring - hopefully yours will do the same for somebody else some day!!
You won't feel rubbish for much longer so that'll help and your first big weigh in will really make you jump up and down!
The other tip I'd give you is that your tastes will change - mine did quite dramatically. I loved the Thai Chilli the first week but couldn't stomach it by the second!
Re the soups, it is useful to have some as you will start to feel cold with the fat burning and all the water you're drinking. A lot of people have said that they can drink the veg and mushroom with some salt and black pepper and I find that too.
The other thing you can do is make a sort of savoury muffin with a chicken soup pack. It turns out like a sort of biscuit/cake. Only small but tasty. You make it up as a paste with as little water as you can get away with in a bowl then chuck it in the microwave for a couple of minutes. I do 2 mins but you'll have to do some experimenting depending on the strength of your microwave. Worth a try anyway.
Hope they help and good luck. You did very well resisting a nibble. Try not to nibble as it just makes it harder on you next time.

Hi Katie, welcome to the blog world, I personally try a bit of coffee in the caramel and Vanilla shake. The bars when you have them I cut into 10 pieces then cook 5 at a time on some brown baking paper in the microwave for 1 min they expand and become crunchy - not the perfect biscuit I know but much better then the bar!! Veg soup is my favourite, mushroom with some black pepper. Chicken you make into crisps or poppudoms.
Check out WWW.Minimins,com the lighter life forum, you will get so much inspiration and ideas and support. Well done xx
